Posted October 18, 2018 06:12:16We’ll have you covered on all things Star Citizen when Disney opens the doors to the world to the first ship to ship for the game.
Star Citizen ships will be free to ship worldwide, meaning no matter where you live, you’ll be able to enjoy the game on the cheap.
“We’re happy to finally be able make Star Citizen available worldwide,” Disney said in a blog post, according to Game Informer.
“We can now offer players a ship that can be delivered to their door with no additional charge, and we’re happy about this.”
For Star Citizen’s backers, this means they can finally get their ships before the game goes into closed beta.
But that doesn’t mean everyone is going to be able get their hands on one, as there are still a lot of hurdles to overcome.
“It’ll take us some time to ship these ships out to all of you, but we’re working to get it done as quickly as possible,” Disney continued.
“In the meantime, we’re very excited about what we’re going to do with these ships.”
While there’s a ton of excitement around Star Citizen, there are also a lot more hurdles to clear before it’s finally available for everyone.
That means there’s still a good chance that some of the people that have spent hundreds of thousands of dollars to get into Star Citizen will have trouble getting their hands onto their ship.
And that’s something that’s going to put a damper on many of the early adopters out there, and if Disney and CCP aren’t careful, it could cause some of those folks to get hurt.
